Whitehaven depot in 1967

Association with the Bristol marque began in 1954 upon delivery of three LS's. Until that time Cumberland had been dominated by Leyland products although over the next few years this was to change until by 1969 out of a fleet of 193 vehicles, 171 were Bristols. The last VR was withdrawn from service in summer 2006.
NOTE: Cumberland renumbered the entire fleet in 1961. Where appropriate the pre 1961 number is given in brackets.
